On Saturday, January 27th at 2pm here in Los Angeles, I'll be joined by some of my great comics friends for a Godzilla author discussion and graphic novel signing hosted by Barnes & Noble at The Grove.

My brilliant wife Rosie Knight will moderate a panel featuring comic book creators James F. Wright, FerioWind, Mark Martinez, Johnny Parker II, and yours truly. We'll be discussing the creative process behind our Godzilla Rivals issues for IDW Publishing and our approach to crafting stories about the Big G.

Afterwards, at 3pm we'll have a signing with James, Ferio, and myself of the recently released Godzilla Rivals: Round Two TPB (and probably Rosie's Round One too!). If you're in the LA area, I hope to see you there.

The latest Godzilla Rivals collection from IDW hits comic shops and bookstores this week. It's filled with four furiously fun and self-contained kaiju adventures, including Biollante Vs. Destoroyah by yours truly, Sean Dove, Andrew Misisco, and Nathan Widick.

I had the chance to swing by Forbidden Planet in London and sign a few copies of Godzilla Rivals: Round Two for their new releases wall. (Rosie also signed a copy of her new Screen Traveller's Guide from DK!)

My good friend James F. Wright and I will be signing Round Two together at Things from Another World at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 11 starting at 4pm and going into the evening. UPDATE: Here are some pics from that great signing.

We also have another signing to announce early next year and we'll be bringing some friends along for that one, so stay tuned. It should be a lot of fun and something a little different from our usual Godzilla events.

Back to this weekend, I'm also meeting up with a bunch of comics people at Nostalgic Comic Shop on Sunday, November 12 to make original art to support the store. Speaking of that great store, I joined them back in the summer for an episode of the ComiCentric podcast to talk about the Jacket Avengers and some of my other comic book passions.

Finally, while I'm waiting to hear back from publishers about some rad pitches I have in the works, I'm helping out on an unannounced Godzilla project. The story and art are so terrific, and I can't wait for everyone to learn more about it. Until then, I hope you'll pick up the Godzilla Rivals: Round Two TPB and enjoy some unique visions of the Big G's world.

I was a panelist on "IDW in Depth: Mind-Blowing Concepts, Characters, and Comics" and had a fantastic time at WonderCon in Anaheim last weekend.

I was joined by some wonderful creators to share about our latest tales, getting into the nuts and bolts of making comics and telling fun stories.

The audience was terrific and I was thrilled to talk about Godzilla Rivals: Biollante Vs. Destoroyah. I discussed the kickass kaiju at the core of our comic and dug into the setting of our story, Pittsburgh.

Over at Comicon.com, Gary Catig has a roundup of our panel, including a nice shot of our full lineup and a teaser of Sean Dove's inks that was shared by IDW.

Also, a new cover for our Godzilla Rivals issue has been revealed! This incredible art is by longtime friend Camila Fortuna, who absolutely crushed this beastly battle.

Speaking of comic shops, I'm currently planning signings for May. On FCBD I'll be at Geoffrey's Comics in Torrance. On Godzilla Rivals release day (tentatively May 10th) I'll be at Nostalgic Comic Shop in San Gabriel. And the weekend following its release on May 27 I'll be at Pulp Fiction in Long Beach.
