It was an honor to be a guest at Godzilla vs. Music Box, a film festival that was a massive gathering of fantastic G-Fans in the Windy City. I flew out to Chicago with the legend Rosie Knight, where we met up with the amazing Oliver Ono and his super cool partner, Chadwick.

We were thrilled to share previews of Godzilla: Monster Island Summer Camp with filmgoers and exhibit our other comics and zines. We also held a zine making workshop for families, which went super well. Big thanks to Katie, Kyle, Kiyan, and the rest of the Music Box staff, who were all terrific.

I also got to meet up with my Transformers: Beast Wars collaborator, Andy Bell, and my Godzilla Rivals collaborator, Sean Dove. I've been working with a lot of Chicagoans lately! It was wonderful to see them both and talk shop.

I'm thrilled to be joining my awesome wife Rosie Knight and incredible artist Oliver Ono, my collaborators on Godzilla: Monster Island Summer Camp, for a long weekend full of fun kaiju cinema and celebration at Godzilla vs. Music Box in Chicago.

The film festival runs from June 7-11 at the Music Box Theatre. First up we'll be signing our comics and zines on the afternoon of Saturday, June 8. And then we're running a craft workshop on the afternoon of Monday, June 10 where we'll share about the process behind telling Godzilla stories, as well as making zines and other cool kaiju stuff.

Rosie and I had a great time signing at Things from Another World in Universal City for Free Comic Book Day 2024. Lots of fantastic Godzilla fans stopped by and we had some great convos about the Big G. And to make it even better, our buddies Bianca Xunise, James F Wright, Amanda Meadows, Geoffrey Golden, and Esther Kim came out to visit. It's always a wonderful time when we're at TFAW and we can't wait to be back there again soon with Godzilla: Monster Island Summer Camp.
