I'm writing Sonic the Hedgehog X Godzilla
This summer I'm teaming up with Jack Lawrence, Reggie Graham, and Ed Dukeshire for Sonic the Hedgehog's BIGGEST challenge yet! Godzilla is stomping its way to Station Square for a comic book crossover of massive proportions. Announced at the start of IGN Fan Fest 2026, Sonic the Hedgehog X Godzilla brings together Toho and Sega's most famous characters in a huge event miniseries from IDW Publishing.
My journey with Sonic X Godzilla began years ago in the middle of 2022, so it's honestly such a relief to be able to talk about this project now. I'm honored by the ecstatic fan reaction to our reveal and I can't wait to share more as we get closer to the first issue's release. That said, our IGN announcement includes a short interview that'll have to tide you over for the time being.
