Here's some stuff I've been writing for Den of Geek, The Beat, and The Comics Courier
Wednesday, October 1st, 2025Lately I've been working with a few of my favorite outlets, including my newest article, a historical recap and review of Albert Pyun's recently discovered director's cut of Captain America for The Beat.
Earlier this year I delved into one of my deepest passions for The Comics Courier, writing about the bizarre circumstances that led to Marvel's collaboration with the Florida Department of Citrus, resulting in the reimagining of Captain Citrus.
Two recent collaborations with Den of Geek produced a pair of bucket list interviews for me. I profiled the composers and creators of Avatar for the Avatar: The Last Airbender 20th Anniversary Special Edition magazine, made in collaboration with Nickelodeon for San Diego Comic-Con 2025.
And, finally, it's not something I wrote but I did an on-camera interview with Todd McFarlane at SDCC, digging into his comic book creation process (many Spawn comics are still made Marvel style!) and his publishing philosophy.
