My newest release, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Halloween Special, dropped in late October and I visited some of my favorite comic shops here in SoCal to sign comics and meet MMPR fans.

Big thanks to these amazing comic book retailers, as well as our wonderful friends who showed up to support us. I'm looking forward to working on more Power Rangers down the line because they're fun to write. Bold colors, wild monsters, and big robots!

BOOM! Studios has released the first two pages of "Candy Cornered" drawn by Juan Romera, lettered by Ed Dukeshire, and written by yours truly.

If you want to preorder the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Halloween Special, you have until Mon Sep 15 to tell your comic shop. The anthology hits stores on Wed Oct 22, just in time to make your Halloween extra spoopy.

I currently have three Los Angeles area signings in the works. My buddy Pete at Nostalgic Comic Shop in San Gabriel is putting together something special for Sat Oct 25, where I'll be joined by other creators and some mighty guests.

I'm also planning signings (with Rosie!) at the fantastic Things From Another World on Universal CityWalk for Thu Oct 30 as well as a TBD date at our wonderful LCS, Pulp Fiction Long Beach. More details to come!

I was honored to have so many fantastic friends come out for our Secret Headquarters book launch party for Godzilla: Monster Island Summer Camp. Rosie Knight, Oliver Ono, Jodie Troutman, and I celebrated our new graphic novel with the legend Godzilla and tons of other cool people.

We also had the opportunity to exhibit at OC Zine Fest, which was a terrific experience. Anaheim really showed up and showed out for the event, and we look forward to being back there again in the future.

On top of that, we received some great news this week via ICv2 -- Godzilla: Monster Island Summer Camp is a bestseller! We landed at #14 on the August charts for graphic novels sold through comic shops.

Next up is Orange Public Library Comic Con this Saturday, September 14 from 12-4. And then, in two weeks, Rosie and I head off to reunite with Oliver and Chad (and Jodie!) in Ohio for a signing at Laughing Ogre's CXC booth on Sunday, September 29 from 2:30-5, followed by a signing at the Laughing Ogre shop on the evening of Wednesday, October 2.
